YMCA Camp du Nord Capital Improvement Campaign

Bridging Generations—Preserving the Spirit of du Nord

The need for a Capital Campaign
The facilities at du Nord are in need of repairs, replacements, refurbishment and additions to effectively and safely support the continuing strong demand for YMCA Family Camping. YMCA Camp du Nord has been operating for 47 years and some of the Northland cabins are 74 years of age. The camp continues to operate at capacity, which is straining the facilities to support its heritage of a high quality camping experience for families. The Capital Campaign will result in improvements which will be sensitive to maintaining the rustic camp environment, insuring safety, and isolating automobiles.

Join us in preserving the Spirit of du Nord!
You can help keep du Nord a wonderful place for families to bond with each other and nature by contributing to our Capital Improvement Campaign. You may contribute by mail, phone, or online (see general Donate section for details). We have had a wonderful outpouring of gifts to allow us to already begin work on many improvements to du Nord—see our progress to date below—but more are needed. All donations are welcome!
